The 1999 Seattle Hempfest is scheduled for Sunday, August 22, 1999 in Myrtle Edwards Park on the Seattle waterfront. Without hundreds of volunteers to make it happen, the Seattle Hempfest would not have grown to be the internationally recognized event it has become. With this recognition comes the responsibility on the part of every volunteer to work with the event coordinators and the civil authorities to make certain the event remains a safe, Constitutionally protected "peaceful assembly" to express our desire to change existing law.

So that we might learn a bit about you and how you can help with the Fest, please fill in this simple form and return it to Seattle Hempfest, 916 NE 65th St. Suite 269, Seattle WA. 98115. If you are on the web, you will have to download or print this form and mail it by regular mail, as we do need your signature. Questions can be directed to our voice mail : (206) 781-5734, or to our email address: hempfest@hemp.net

Legal Stuff:

For legal reasons, we ask that people interested in volunteering at the Fest on Sunday be at least 18 years old. If you are under 18, please contact a coordinator by voice or email, and alternative positions will be made available to you in pre-fest or other areas. Furthermore, by signing this application, you agree to hold harmless the Seattle Hempfest if someone screws up and you get hurt.
