11:00 - Michael Stewartt, Martin Martinez, Eddie and Angie, George Bakan
Michael Stewartt is founder and President of Lighthawk, an enviromental aviation team. He's been a hemp activist for 10 years and will speak on the enviromental destruction caused by the Drug War.
Last year Martin Martinez posed as Drug War Victim number 10,000,001 and lived to tell about it, thanks to strong public support and the benevolence of Norm Maleng's office. This year Martinez is phat with facts on medical marijuana.
Eddie is a late stage multiple sclerosis and medical marijuana patient. Eddie and his wife Angie have been aggressive activists in the northwest medical marijuana movement.

Numantra is a refreshingly new and unique band hailing from Seattle; mixing traditional Indian music themes and Moroccan rythms with sensous vocals and textured electronica. 12:00 - Joanna McKee, Dale Rogers, Elvy Musika, Katya Chorover
Joanna McKee co-founded the Green Cross Patient Co-op in 1992. The co-op provides medical marijuana for over 300 patients in the northwest and has been instrumental in saving medical marijuana patients from arrest and prosecution.
Dale Rogers is Patient Coordinator for the Green Cross Patient Co-op.
Elvy Musika is one of the few legal medical marijuana recipients in the United States. She has been receiving marijuana from the US Government for years.
With her soulful vocals and well-crafted songs, Katya Chorover's music weaves deep, personal stories with wry social commentary. Her sound combines folk, country, blues and gospel influences with her own contemporary conviction and style. Chris Lunn of Victory Review calls her "a major folk songwriter and vocalist". Currently on tour through out the US and Canada in support of her new self-produced CD, The Clearing.

Lara Lavi: musician, songwriter, champion of the disempowered staunch environmentalist and attorney for Indian Tribes. Lara and her eight piece band bring, guitars, bass, drums, accordion, viola and saxophone to the hempfast in her typical dynamo singer songwriter in your face style. Expect powerful songwriter, great harmonies and lots of cool energy. Lara has toured with Peter Gabriel, the Neville Brothers, Paula Cole, Midnight Oil, Counting Crows and many many more. Jeff Babbitt is a medical marijuana patient.
Artis the Spoonman is one of the most famous street musicians in the world. He's been featured in the Soundgarden song and video "Spoonman," appeared on the David Letterman Show and can be seen periodically collaborating with Jim Page on the streets of Seattle. Robert Lunday founded Hemp.Net in 1995 and since that time, it has grown to become the Internet site for Washington activists.
Dawn Walt is one of the countless widows of the drug war and a member of The November Coalition.
Don Wirtshafter is founder and owner of the Ohio Hempery, one of the earliest hemp companies in the United States. He is also now an investor and officer of Ecolution, Inc. A criminal defense attorney by profession, Wirtshafter serves on the Board of Directors of the National Organization for the Reform of Marijuana Laws and the Hemp Industries Association.

Kuli Loach is a Seattle-based five piece rock 'n roll band that has played the Seattle area since 1986. Avoiding note-by-note renditions of covers and originals alike, The Loach pursues a more alive, spontaneous kind of sound that directly involves the audience in a danceable blend of rock, rhythmn, space, and blues. Kevin Zeese is President of Common Sense for Drug Policy. He is the author of Drug Testing Legal Manual, Drug Testing Legal Manual and Practice Aids and co-author of Drug Law: Strategies and Tactics.
Adam Smith is Associate Director of the Drug Reform Coordination Network, (DRCNet), the central online clearinghouse for information, communication and anti-Drug War activism on the internet. DRCNet distributes state-specific as well as national legislative action alerts, and publishes The Week Online, the nation's only ezine dedicated to original coverage of the Drug War and the reform movement, both nationally and internationally.
Beau was orphaned by the drug war.
Jude is yet another one of the many drug war orphans.
Joanne Rand's all original "song poetry" has been dubbed "Psychedelic Folk Revival" by producer Stephen Hart, and "Acoustic Ritual" by author Terry Tempest Williams. Mike Gray wrote the New York Times Best Seller, Drug Crazy and the screenplay for the award-winning movie The China Syndrome. He has written, produced and been involved in numerous other films and television shows including Star Trek: The Next Generation, Area 51 and Chain Reaction.
Tyree Callahan is a Regional Leader of the November Coalition and runs the Bellingham Drug Policy Reform Group in Bellingham, Washington.

4:20 - 420 Dedication with Reverend Chumleigh, Ceremony
Reverend Chumleigh founded the Miraculous Church of the Incandescent Resurrection, is the Spiritual Leader of the Morally Indigent, and is reputed to be the true messiah. Chumleigh performs true Cult Humor with lighting quick anarchistic grumpy diatribe punctuated with Miraculous and Dangerous but Silly Stunts. Back in the Olden Days when he was really really young, Chumleigh founded the Circus, marching band and infamous Midnite Show at the world's largest Hippie Petting Zoo, the Oregon Country Fair. He is pleased to serve as Official Chaplain of HempFest.

Local 808 delivers a heavy guitar based foundation blending Hip Hop, R&B, and groove. Socially conscious, with street sense, 808 speaks from true experience as well as the soul. Local 808 has evolved from an opener to a weekend headlining act filling venues in Seattle. 808 has had radio support from Seattle stations KISW, KNDD, and KCMU and played at the 1997 Pain In The Grass Concert Series at Seattle Center in front of 7,000 people. Local 808 has also performed in the 1997 Bumbershoot festival and with such nationals as Run DMC and Sammy Hagar. Most people regard Jack Herer as the man who jump started the hemp movement. His book, The Emperor Wears No Clothes, is in it's twelfth edition and still one of the most comprehensive books on hemp, marijuana and the history surrounding their prohibtion.
Vivian McPeak is Director and MC of Hempfest. He's also a longtime Seattle activist and musician.
Laith Richards is founder and President of HealthTech, which makes Clear Choice and other products to help individuals pass drug tests. Laith is full of information on the abuse, unreliability and unconstitutionality of drug testing. HealthTech has been fighting against drug testing for 5 years.
Nora Callahan is director of the November Coalition.

Laurence Cherniak authored the Great Book of Cannabis and the Great Book of Hashish. He also created the Cannabis Culture Playing Cards, which will have a commemerative SEATTTLE HEMPFEST, COLLECTIBLE, NUMBERED, seal just for Seattle Hempfest attendees and will be sold at the Seattle Hempfest booth. Few people have been as visible in the medical marijuana movement as Dennis Peron. He founded the San Fransisco Cannabis Buyer's Club and was a major force behind California's Proposition 215, which legalized the medical use of marijuana. Visit Californians for Compassionate Use.

6:30 - Second Coming
While some of the faces may have changed, they shouldn't be unfamiliar to anyone who's been around the Seattle music scene. Original members Yanni Bacolas (bass) and James Bergstrom (drums, percussion) still make up the rhythm section, but they've been joined by former Sweetwater guitarist and songwriter Dudley Taft, and former Peace and Silence vocalist Travis Bracht. Judith Seeley is a Tacoma lawyer and wife of the late medical marijuana activist Ralph Seeley.
